Two Planets Reality
Privacy
Two Planets Reality makes small apps for a pair of glasses by talking. Here is what that collects, what it keeps, and what you can do about it.
Where you are
Only while an app that reaches other wearers runs, a walk is on, or the app looks once between apps, and only to the nearest thirty metres: a cell, never a point. A line you leave on the street is kept at the cell's centre. Nobody is told where you are, only "here" or "close".
What you say and see
What you say to make an app is heard by a model and kept as the words of the app. Photographs your glasses take at your press, and recordings of the talk button, go to your own journal on our backend with everything your apps keep. Nobody else is given your journal. A line you leave for strangers is read by a model before it is kept, and is shown to them with a made-up name that lasts one walk.
Who you are
An account id we make, a description of your phone, and, if you sign in with Apple, Apple's identifier for you. A push token if you allow pushes. No email, no contacts, no tracking.
The waitlist
An email left on the waitlist at reality.twoplanets.org is kept for one thing: the invitation to the TestFlight. It is not used for anything else, and a line to ben@twoplanets.org removes it.
How long
Your journal is kept ninety days unless you set a shorter or longer time in Settings. A mark left on the street expires after a day unless the app asked for up to a week, and lives a day longer each time another wearer finds it useful; lines on a walkie-talkie expire within a day. Your apps stay until you delete them. Backups are kept two weeks.
Your doors
- Export everything as one file, from Settings.
- Delete the account, from Settings: your apps, your journal and its pictures, your lines, at once.
- Report and block anything a stranger left, from the app's page.
- Turn the street off for any app, on its page. It then keeps to itself.
Who else
The models that write, read and speak (Anthropic, OpenAI, ElevenLabs) are given what a call needs and nothing more, under their terms. We count calls and costs, never words. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or used to track you.
Adults
The shared street is for people over seventeen. The app asks once before it is turned on.
